This listing is for a lovely Crooked Wand I hand carved from a fallen branch I gathered while apple picking a few years ago. I try to carve at least one apple wand every year. It’s not an easy wood to carve by hand, but it finishes beautifully and this wand is no exception. The challenge I set myself here was how to add interest to such a slender stick, so I opted for adding some fine carving details to the guard, which I have colored with red alcohol ink to make it pop. This wand feels super magical, is very smooth and very fun to swish and flick.
